This is a site for those engaged in the Southern Charms Project.

This project is a conversation across the Pacific about how we can adapt the cultural heritage of 'power' objects to our world today.

In involves a touring exhibition, Southern Charms: New Power Jewellery Across the Pacific, which is due to open at RMIT Gallery in February 2012 and then travel east to New Zealand and Latin America.

Along the way, it draws on audiences to share their experiences and ideas about how objects can protect and bring fortune to those we care about in our lives, including our planet.
